The NAMM Show - Minor Repairs?

As reported by Trade Show Week - NAMM – the Intl. Music Products Assn. – will no longer allow anyone under the age of 16 on to The NAMM Show floor.  NAMM officials said the policy change has been made in order to enhance trade show activity and ensure the show’s atmosphere remains business-like and professional.

NAMM is restricting non-industry visitors under the age of 16. Artists and Employees under 16 will continue to be granted access to the NAMM Show floor.

The annual NAMM show, scheduled Jan. 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will have a 586,000 net square foot show floor, 1,500 exhibiting companies and 88,000 attendees, according to NAMM officials. In 2008, the show, also held in Anaheim, had the same size trade show floor, hosted 1,560 exhibiting companies and had 88,128 total attendees.
